1. All events from Noon til 6pm are completely FREE to the public. This ensures that families, individuals, visitors and residents alike can enjoy the performances throughout the 10 day event without having to be pressured into considerable ticket prices.
Last year's free programme included children's events and salsa classes!!

2. The event has, in some respects, incorporated parts of the now extinct Children's Festival. The first 3 hours of free programming everyday (non - 3pm) are geared towards children and families, from ages 1 to 91, during half term with puppet shows, magicians, kids music, clowns and circus performers.
We will see an extension of this programming with a number of outreach events adjacent to the Spiegeltent in the adjoining Spiegel garden marquee, where we will provide face painting, balloon sculpture etc to continue to entertain the children beyond 3pm.
This is a truly unique community event, giving the public FREE entertainment during the day, and presenting the best and highest profile Fringe Festival venue in the evening.
